Scientific/Medical Liaison Training

Our Medical Liaison training programs can be delivered with a variety of approaches designed to minimize time out of the field while generating maximum impact on the team’s skills. To accommodate those goals we tailor our programs to be delivered in 2 hour, half-day or full-day formats. Liaisons need to be content experts, but they equally need to be communication experts. Don’t leave the communication side to chance!

However you integrate communication skills training into your initial content training, include it as part of your regular training updates, add it to a POA meeting, or bring the team together to prepare for special programs, our training makes sure your team is more effective as medical educators.

Teaming Your Liaisons With Faculty

McGrath Communications Group is often asked to design specific training programs that incorporate the strengths of the Medical Liaison team. By teaming your Liaisons with faculty, advisors, or a skills instructor, you gain better control of the focus of the conversation, the content understanding and the integration of content knowledge with communication strategies. These presentation teams can increase the quality of:
  • discussion at Advisory Boards
  • content learning at speaker training meetings
  • speaker training breakouts that weave content knowledge with communication skills

McGrath Communications will design the programs with you and create a specific training module that ensures the Liaisons (and your faculty/advisors) have the exact skills they need to succeed.
